Font Viewer

A simple, straightforward font viewer.

Lists all installed fonts, shows examples in adjustable size and format, and allows for free text to be entered to get a personalized preview of what the font looks like when used.

What does it do?

It allows you to have a peek at your installed Windows fonts (TTF, OTF), to see what they look like when used.

What doesn’t it do?

Install fonts (and in Windows 10 and up, that’s not even necessary anymore, as font installation has been made so much easier than it ever was in earlier Windows versions).
Phone home. It’s a font-viewer, fercryinoutloud. No need for online checks, there’s no licensing, no DRM, so absolutely no reason to contact anything online, ever. It doesn’t even have a built-in “update checker” (so make sure to check this page every now and then to see if I happened to have made a new version available).
Touch any files or folders. It reads your local font-storage, and displays what’s in there. That’s it.

Installation instructions

Create a folder anywhere, and save the exe (or unpack the zip) into that folder.

Right-click on the susi FontViewer.exe file to Pin to Start (Windows 8+), or drag to create a shortcut anywhere.

And that’s it.

Usage instructions

Start the app. Wait a couple of seconds for your available fonts to populate the list. Look at them. Click some buttons.
